Documentary Proposal – Mohammed Ali

Mohammed Ali is a world famous ex Boxer. Mohammed Ali is also a street artist living and working in Birmingham, his work has been recognised all over the world by important cultural commentators, political activists and large broadcasting corporations. He has won a South Bank Show award and been profiled on the BBC’s flagship news commentary show Newsnight. His work is often religious and nearly always political, pieces speaking out against the conflict in Gaza have been very well recieved. Some of Mohammed’s work is being exhibited in the Herbert Gallery in Coventry and this is how we managed to speak to him and propose a documentary which he showed interest in. A short documentary about his individual stand against the conflict in Gaza would make for an interesting story.
